Sugar Cookie Shenanigans 12/22/21

One of my Mom's very best friends invited us over to her house to decorate, bake, and eat sugar cookies the first day after Christmas break started for me. I was so happy to be off from work so I could experience the Christmas fun with everyone!

These are Ann Hatten's creations. She had the best time deciding how to decorate them. She was very intentional with some of her choice and it was fun getting to experience it with her.

My frosted creations. They were so, so tasty.

Mrs. Lisa let us all pick out the cookie cutter shapes we wanted to use and we decorated those before baking them. Of course, it turned in to a competition among the adults and it. was. on.
You've not seen competitive until you've done something with Carol Jussely--if you know, you know!

The moment Bennett sat down, he had his hands on a cookie--smart little fella.

It's times like these that make up the Christmas spirit. People opening their homes, sharing fun traditions, and allowing us to join in. What a sweet day this was!
