Aaron & Blair 6-27-15

10 years of dating and Aaron & Blair finally, FINALLY tied the knot this weekend and it was perfect!
It was such a fun, sweet weekend--from the bridesmaids luncheon, to the rehearsal dinner, to spending the day with all the wedding party, to the ceremony and one of the most fun receptions--it was a true celebration of these two!

As I've said before, there's nothing sweeter than seeing your sibling get married. It's so neat to see The Lord answer life long prayers of our family by providing us all with spouses.

We are so thankful to have Blair as an "official" part of our family now. I know she will wear the Jussely name proud for those of us who have taken new last names ;)
(Let me go ahead and preface that I've gotten a few of these pictures from other people--thank y'all for helping our family capture all these moments!)

Friday afternoon, we had the bridesmaids luncheon at The Fairview Inn.
We had the best time having all the girls together, just visiting and enjoying one another's company before all the evening events snuck up on us.

Blair's sweet, SWEET gift to her mom and my mom
 along with these fun robes

Thank you to Blair and all the ladies that made the luncheon so much fun for us all--it was wonderful!

Later that evening, we had the rehearsal at the church and then the rehearsal dinner at The Ivy

The dinner was so nice and delicious. I loved hearing everyone's speeches about what Aaron and Blair mean to them and how they've been a part of their lives in one way or another. It's definitely one of my favorite parts of wedding weekends!

Their wedding day couldn't have been any better!
The weather held off and made for some beautiful pictures, everything went smoothly, it was so beautiful, the ceremony was sweet, Blair and Aaron were beaming, and it was all around lovely.

A huge shoutout to Charlotte Stringer and her amazing photography--thank you for sharing all these sneak peeks with us--I am LOVING them!
 With our new sister

Aaron and Mom danced to "That's Alright Mama"
Aaron and Blair ended their first dance by kicking up their heels to "Son of a Preacher Man" and it was PERFECT.

We always love when our extended family is around

I am so thankful for such a sweet weekend celebrating my big brother and his new wife. Join me in praying for Aaron and Blair as they start their new life as The Jussely's!

I have to end this post with a shoutout to my parents--3 weddings in 19 months! They are the most selfless, helpful, gracious, loving people I know and I think I speak for all three of us when I say how thankful we are for you both and all that you've done for us and our new little families over the past 19 months! Thank you both for showing us what covenantal loves looks like and modeling that in our home for over 30 years. Your marriage is such a blessing to our lives and we are so thankful that The Lord saw fit for us to be your children. Thank you for loving us so well!

What I'm Loving Right Now (5)

Can I just start by saying that I am loving summer?
I taught ESY (summer school) the first 3 weeks of my "summer" so now it's actually, OFFICIALLY, summer for me!

On to "What I'm Loving Right Now"

THIS DRINK! It is so different and so good. It's Kombucha--which just sounds cool in and of itself but then you taste it and it's like this crazy drink explosion. I know, I sound silly, but it's something else! It has a lot of antioxidants and other fun things which make it a "healthier" drink choice.
How I Met Your Mother--Jason and I are watching this show again and it's still just as hilarious the second time around. Marshall is hands down my favorite. Ted, ehhhh. I guess you have to have him though, right?

Laying out--really though--what's better than laying out in the sun and reading a good book with an ice cold drink? Not much!

I'm also taking much better care of my skin this year by using my Rodan+Fields face moisturizer daily. It has SPF 20 in it and it. is. awesome. We have a good many other products to get/keep your skin "sun safe"--ejussely.myrandf.com

We are headed on vacation this weekend to our first beach trip--The Father's Day weekend trip with Jason's family. I am SO EXCITED! (Our picture from last year)
These two songs right now are my jam:
I Won't Let You Go--James Morrison (weird video, great song)
Budapest--George Ezra (yet another strange video, but great song)

Jason and I have been on a walking kick. We've been taking 2-4 mile walks around the neighborhood each day and it's been so nice. I'm getting a lot of ideas for things I want to do to our house ;)

Speaking of, I am really digging the whole "flowers around the mailbox"thing--it's so fun and pretty. This may be my next project this summer.

La Croix--this drink is saving my life (dramatic, I know) but really. It's bubbly goodness satisfies my diet coke (really, any soft drink) cravings. You can find the nutritional facts here (it's actually not bad!) So far, the grapefruit is my favorite flavor. I've had Coconut and Lime as well--I plan to try them all though ;) Kroger had a 2 for $6 sale going on this week!
Yard Work--I am so in to yard work these days--even though the rain is totally messing up (throwing around) my mulch. I actually LIKE cutting the grass and edging. I find myself WANTING to go outside and pull weeds (whaaaaat? I know). There's just something about that instant gratification of seeing your progress.

Speaking of rain--these pictures of the sky after our summer thunderstorm last week takes my breath away. So beautiful.

This girl passed her NCLEX! You can just call her Mary Claire Lyons, RN!
Gourmet Popsicles--Guys, you have two options (I've only been to one of them) for places you can go to find these delicious treats:
We were having a girls day Saturday and went to Ice Pop Culture--this cute little popsicle cart that sets up (usually) outside of the Capri Theater over on N. State Street. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram to find out their location for the day.
We tried Strawberry Lemonade, Banana Buttermilk, and Peach Rosemary--all of which were amazing!
Then, this new place, Deep South Pops just opened as well---I WILL be trying it out soon.
Here's to summer!
