We couldn't have had a better weekend celebrating Mary Claire & Grant's marriage.
It was full of family, laughter, stories & love. It was wonderful.
My favorite thing? Mary Claire saying: "You didn't tell me this was THIS much fun!"
Happy bride, happy day. ;)
The week leading up to the wedding was something else.
The bride and the groom were BOTH sick as of Monday and stayed that way for a few days--in sickness and in health, right?
Then, I got sick--which was no fun. But nonetheless, the show went on and we have ourselves some newly weds!
The weekend started off with an amazing Bridesmaids Luncheon.
Not only was it beautiful, but the food was delicious as well.

I am sure that some sort of rule was broken in the making of that cowbell

The Rehearsal Dinner was so beautiful. Grant's family did an outstanding job!
Rehearsal dinner's are always my favorite! I love hearing how the two people we are celebrating have touched people’s lives and I love sharing a tiny glimpse of how much they mean to me as well.
One recurring word I heard people use to describe Mary Claire & Grant both was the word joy--what a sweet testament to them and their character and Lord willing, a word that will fill their marriage!
I couldn't sleep the night before! I woke up at 3:50 because I couldn't keep ignoring the butterflies in my stomach! My sister was getting married!!!
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times but it's so true. There is nothing better for a sibling's heart than to see your brother/sister happy. To see them being loved and being loved well. To know they will be taken care of and cherished. The Lord is so good and His grace is overwhelming!
The most beautiful bride there ever was.
It was an absolute JOY to stand by your side as your Matron of Honor and witness you and Grant start your lives together. Grant is an answer to this sister's prayers and I am so excited to watch y'all's life together. I love you dearly!
Jason Ellis, I am so blessed to get to do life with you. I love you, my sweet husband.
I love this picture.
We were all lined up, waiting to go down the aisle. Mary Claire was waiting in the room because the doors were open. I looked in there and I see this literal, picture perfect moment, of her listening to the words to "Oh, The Deep, Deep, Love" as she prepares to walk down the aisle to her groom. So. Beautiful.
Oh the deep, deep love
All I need and trust
Is the deep, deep love of Jesus
Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus
Far surpassing all the rest
It’s an ocean full of blessing
In the midst of every test
Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus
Mighty Savior, precious Friend
You will bring us home to glory
Where Your love will never end
I would say that's the face of a man who is happy to be married ;)
To the Lyons!
