Ann Hatten's Dance Recital 5/15 & 16

Our little niece, Ann Hatten, has been taking dance this year and the much anticipated recital weekend came upon us and thankfully, we were able to go!

Mom and I had the privilege of taking her to her dress rehearsal and it was so special and so much fun! We made a morning of it as Mom did her hair, I did her make up, and she got into her special dancing dress. We didn't know what to expect since this was her first time being on a stage but, she absolutely loved it and it was precious.

Checking out how Mimi did on her bun and how Aunt Ellen did with her make up.

She got off the stage after her first song practice and said, "I want to do that again!" LOL, she loved the spot light.

The recital was Sunday afternoon after church and she was ready as ever.

Her family (Bennet included and he did so, so well sitting and waiting--granted, he had many laps to be passed around to), Grandparents, and Jason & I were there to cheer her on.

The funniest part is that when it was over and we took her outside to snap some pictures--I wanted to get her family photo first and when the family gathered round--she basically told them "no" and wanted to pose on her own--ha! She was feeling the stardom and it was so incredibly funny!

This tiny dancer loved her recital and I hope there are many, many more for years to come because we loved it, too!
