When Jason and I had our first Christmas together,we had been married just barely 1 month. But, I already knew that I wanted to do Christmas cards! This is something my family has done since before I was born and I knew I wanted to carry it over to our family as well. I LOVE sending them out and love receiving them just as much. It's such a fun, simple way to share some Christmas cheer. A sweet way to let people know you are thinking about them during the season.
I was feeling nostalgic and for my own sake, I went over to my parents and spend some time looking at all of our old Christmas cards so I could have copies of them all and here I am, sharing them with you. 26 years of Christmas cards.
Another fun thing I need to let you in on is this book here. My mom had one of these books that displayed each year's Christmas card along with some information about that Christmas--toys we got, what we did for Christmas Eve, if anything funny happened, things of that nature. For a wedding gift, someone gave me my very own "Christmas Memories Book" and thus, the tradition began for The Ellis family. I love it!
